Crawl before you walk

If you have been eating garbage your entire life, you can’t all of a sudden become a vegan over night. You should take small steps. Make small accomplishments. For example, If you ate fast food on a daily basis, start by cutting that out. If you’ve never worked out a day in your life, then start by going for a walk on a daily basis. It may not seem like something major, but it’s better then what you’ve been doing or haven’t been doing.

I always hear people make unrealistic goals. For instance, a person may say that ” I want to lose 100 pounds within the next year”. That is an unrealistic goal for a novice to make. Start making small goals, like I want to lose 1 or 2 pounds this week. Once you accomplish small goals you can gradually move to larger goals.
